Bob Salvat – Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Salvat, a Florida native and former United States Marine, founded SurgiTrace in April of 2007, and developed the SurgiTrace business model to serve as the foundation for the Company’s strategic portfolio of advanced asset tracking technology and web based solutions to service the healthcare industry.
Mr. Salvat’s tenure in the medical device arena as a former medical devices specialist brought him to the realization in 2005, that the healthcare industry was not taking advantage of today’s technological resources where it was needed most. This helped him to uncover the idea of the patent pending SurgiTrace real-time GPS based tracking solution to manage inventory through the medical devices supply chain. His established medical device related network and working partnerships made the SurgiTrace solutions emerge from a mere possibility to a reality.
His degree, experience with several start-ups, and multiple licenses in business and finance gave him the tools needed to lead in several successful business ventures prior to founding SurgiTrace. Mr. Salvat’s business consulting in organizational management, and prior experience in establishing several post-op healthcare and wellness companies, financial planning practices, surgeon partnerships, and medical device distribution networks, all give him the resources necessary to lead SurgiTrace to the forefront of the merger between healthcare and technology.
