The SurgiTrace team was formed in 2005 to engage in the research, design, and development of a global tracking solution made specifically for the healthcare supply chain. Its products are being developed to be used in the monitoring of medical asset logistics as they travel from the manufacturer to the patient. Products distributed by the Company will include an exclusive package which integrates several cutting edge tracking technologies that will be fitted to a medical asset to communicate its precise location, usage, and inventory status both over long and short distances. The Company’s focus is to develop tracking methods that are affordable, help to improve patient safety, reduce product liability, and provide transparent location data of assets for the medical device manufacturer and the distribution supply chain.

The SurgiTrace platform will aim to deliver several categories of products that will assist in tracking instruments and implants, their respective containers, and other non-sterile inventory items. In addition, the Company plans to offer a proprietary software user interface which will include a mapping solution that works in connection with the tracking unit hardware.
